Beatbot AquaSense Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner Review

The Beatbot AquaSense Pro cordless robotic pool cleaner is a game-changer if you’re tired of the constant upkeep that comes with having a pool. This robotic pool cleaner takes the hard work out of keeping your pool spotless, giving you more time to kick back and enjoy it. In this short review, I’m going to look at what makes it so special and why it might just be the best thing since sliced bread for pool owners.

Beatbot AquaSense Pro: My Quick Review

First off, let’s talk about its 5-in-1 capabilities. The Beatbot AquaSense Pro not only cleans the waterline, walls, and floor, but it’s also the first robot that can skim the surface (excluding robotic pool skimmers, of course). And, get this, it even has an automatic clarifying system that keeps the water crystal clear without you having to lift a finger. Just pop in the clarifying agent (sold separately) and watch the magic happen.

Now, let’s chat about the automatic return and surface parking feature. This smarty-pants robot knows when it’s low on juice and comes back to the surface all by itself. It pumps out most of the water to lighten the load and enable it to float on the surface of the water. This makes it a lot easier to remove the robot from the pool. It’s like having a pool guy who knows exactly when to take a break.

The water surface cleaning is another wow-factor. It’s got a dual propeller setup that lets it glide over the surface and scoop up leaves and flowers like they’re nothing. This means you can spend more time splashing around and less time playing pool skimmer.

Under the hood, this robotic pool cleaner is like a supercomputer. It’s got a quad-core processor, which is a fancy way of saying it’s super smart. It uses its computer power to figure out the best way to clean your pool, and it’s got more sensors than a luxury car. This means it can navigate around obstacles without any trouble and won’t miss a spot.

What Does Beatbot Say About the Battery Life?

According to the manufacturer’s specs, the battery life is pretty impressive. It can keep going for up to 9 hours on the surface and 5 hours on the bottom, which is more than enough to get your pool looking like a million bucks. And when it needs a charge, it just floats to the surface of the pool. Pick it up out of the pool, and put it on the charging dock to charge.

What Is the Consensus About the AquaSense Pro?

According to our expert, General Consensus, what do real people think about it? Well, the consensus is that it’s pretty good at cleaning, easy to use, and a real time-saver. The app is a hit, making it convenient to control and check on your pool’s cleanliness from the comfort of your favorite chair. Some folks have had a bit of trouble with the Wi-Fi connection, but it’s mostly smooth sailing.

Now, for the nitty-gritty. It’s safe for saltwater pools, works in both in-ground and above-ground setups, and is surprisingly gentle on different pool surfaces. It’s a bit of a heavyweight when you pull it out, but hey, nobody said a powerful pool cleaner had to be light as a feather. Oh, and did I mention the price? I probably shouldn’t burst your bubble just yet.

Of course, if the AquaSense Pro is too expensive for your pocket, then you could consider getting the less advanced model, which is also a few dollars cheaper: go here to read my Beatbot AquaSense review.

How Does This Model Compare To the AquaSense 2 Pro?

Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro Color Dark Green
Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro

Well, I thought I was done reviewing the AquaSense Pro model, but a few months later I saw that there was yet another Beatbot pool robot on the market: the AquaSense 2 Pro. Wasn’t the first model good enough, and expensive enough, already? Why upgrade it so soon?

Anyway, the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro model looks the same as the AquaSense Pro model (except for the dark green color), so what are the similarities, and what are the actual differences?

First, let me quickly check the similarities: 5-in-1 cleaning, water surface cleaning ability, automatic surface parking, automatic water clarification, wireless charging dock, quad-core CPU, and smart app control. For the most part, it looks like the same robotic pool cleaner.

However, the key differences between these two Beatbot pool robots seems to be that the AquaSense 2 Pro offers you the ability to use the smartphone app to remotely control the robot on the water surface, so that you may chase down leaves and bugs.

Another thing I notice is that the AquaSense 2 Pro has a more powerful 13,400mAh battery, which should allow it to clean the pool for an hour or two longer.

Furthermore, the AquaSense 2 Pro has 22 sensors instead of only 20, because it also has two ultrasonic sensors. I do not know how much difference those two extra sensors will really make, but I guess more is better, right?

In brief, the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro is an upgraded model with a few extra features, and yet I do not know whether those features are worth the extra money. I am certainly not going to pay an extra hundred dollars just to be able to remotely control the pool robot on the surface of the water. If you pay top dollar for an advanced robotic pool cleaner that can clean the water surface like a solar-powered pool skimmer, then you shouldn’t have to bother with remotely controlling it, spending precious pool time chasing after leaves and other debris. But, that is just like my humble opinion. Click here to see the AquaSense 2 Pro on Amazon (paid link).

Comparison To the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra

But wait, there’s one more! If you want to go beyond the AquaSense 2 Pro, then the Ultra model is where you should go. Yeah, I know, is another Beatbot AquaSense model really necessary? Well, let’s see what we can see.

At first glance, this pool robot looks like a hybrid between the AquaSense Pro and the iSkim Ultra robotic pool skimmer. It is almost like Beatbot put one on top of the other to make the ultimate robotic pool cleaner. The key similarity is that both of these robots can skim and clean the water surface of a swimming pool. Although, the iSkim Ultra will be better at skimming when compared to the AquaSense 2 Ultra.

Then again, the iSkim Ultra cannot clean the walls and floor of a swimming pool, because it is only a robotic pool skimmer. However, it does offer you the option of using a water clarification agent to help clarify the swimming pool.

In comparison, the AquaSense 2 Ultra offers water surface skimming, waterline cleaning, water clarification, as well as floor and wall cleaning. It offers the complete pool cleaning package. Which is just as well, for the reason that you could almost buy both the AquaSense Pro and the iSkim Ultra for the price of the AquaSense 2 Ultra (check price on Amazon – paid link).

Conclusion

So, is the Beatbot AquaSense Pro worth the investment? If you’re looking for a way to cut down on pool maintenance without cutting corners on cleanliness, it’s definitely a pricey contender, even though the Ultra model would be the most expensive choice, and the most advanced unit.

To conclude, the AquaSense Pro might not be the perfect robotic pool cleaner you were chasing in your dreams (a perfect pool cleaner is a mythical creature), but it’s pretty damn close. If you have the cash, then you might give it a go and see how much more pool time you can squeeze out of the summer! Click here to read more on Amazon (paid link).
